Your Tour Guide: Miss Puggy

Romy came up on her motorbike to visit us, so we did some sightseeing: here we are at Raven Ridge Cidery. The lady doing the tasting insisted I try some cider. Too strong!
Then we went to Okanagan Lavender Farm, where I took Romy on a stroll.
I don't know what all the fuss is about the lavender. The pinecones are far preferable.
Then we spent the afternoon reading on the beach. Before Romy left, I did my first order of business on her laundry bag so she would have something to remember me by.
Thanks for the visit, Romy!

Bram Stoker's Lucy the Vampire

Sometimes I like to imagine that my needle sharp milk teeth are vampire fangs.
I lull people into submission with my puppy ways...
And when they least expect it...Slurp!
Vampugger!

The Poky Little Pug

Recently I've been reminding Gillian of The Poky Little Puppy, one her favorite childhood books. Apparently this is the best-selling children's hardcover of all time.
The poky little puppy liked to go off exploring on his own, which is something I've been doing a lot of recently. Running away from Robert and Gill is a new game I've developed. I've also been working on a number known as the steeplechase through the garden: up the lettuce path and down the row of peas. Another specialty of mine is trying to climb through the fence to visit the neighbours. But could you put a face like this to bed without strawberry shortcake for dessert? I don't think so.A big bowl of backyard cherries it is, then.
